AKA - the Quakers
OMG - you do not get a much simpler website design than that. Currently reading this really cool book by Adam Hochschild (one of the hippy co-founders of Mother Jones magazine) called Bury the Chains, which, as you might guess - is about the formation of the early Abolitionist movement in England. So - the Quakers have been on my mind recently, since they were the primary instigators of that movement in both England and the States. Kind of like the 18th century version of our ACLU.
