Dutch Reporter to use heroin, pot on TV

It's creating quite a stir.

"For one episode, Wesselink, 26, plans to smoke heroin, said Ingrid Timmer, spokeswoman for the show's producer, BNN. For others, he plans
to go on a drinking binge in a series of pubs and to take the hallucinogenic drug LSD -- on his couch under the supervision of his mother."

Acid under the supervision of his mother?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Okay...well...it's something I wouldn't try...but if he wants a parent around....

You're not the first who has told me that. Still....I've got all this deep emotional shit tied with mine (like almost everyone) that I think it would be something I would just as soon not go through! Because Deep emotional shit + LSD = trip to emergency room.

I'll second that. And speaking as someone who has been on a trip like that....having parents around is the last thing that would be good for you.

But maybe this reporter has a different relationship with his mommy then I do with mine. Of course, my friend Neil had to bring up the Oedipus angle...so who knows?

he is obviously very close to his mother...maybe a little too close...kinda makes you wonder about what other things he does on his couch "under the supervision of his mother"...those perverse dutch! =)

I'm hoping this series makes it over to the states...because it sounds like it would be a blast to watch. Maybe MTV will pick it up...
