Drama for today
Characters involved:
Myself
Semi-hysterical math dept. office lady (who I really am not fond of)
Location (calculus tutoring room)
Her Corpulence: Were you scheduled to be here at 3:00!?
Myself: No.
Her Corpulence: Who was scheduled?!?! No one WAS HERE.
Myself: I don't know. Why don't you check the sign-in sheet.
Her Corpulence: Someone was supposed to be here.
Myself: I got here at 4:05. Actually I'm supposed to here at 4:00 but
Applied Math Seminar ran over and I had to speak a little with my adviser.
Her Corpulence: You weren't here at 4:05.
Myself: Yes I was.
Her Corpulence: No you weren't. I was watching the clock.
Myself: Well my wristwatch is set to an atomic cesium clock in
Boulder, Colorado. How do you set your clocks?
Her Corpulence: grrrrrrr.....well all I know is someone has to
be here at 3 and no one was and you need to do something about
that.
Myself: Talk to Dr. R....he's the coordinator for all of us.

Awk! Her Corpulence sounds exceedingly scary/insane. I just love it when people expect her to solve all their problems when you've made it perfectly clear that it is not in your control *rolls eyes*

artwork (http://www.mckean-art.co.uk/) and I love everything he does. I think he's most famous for doing the illustrations for the cover of Sandman and for Wizard and Glass - 4th in Stephen King's Dark Tower series.
Actually there is a cool pic in Wizard and Glass of a rose that he did which I really want to make into an icon. Couldn't find it last night though =(
She is kind of creepy. She looks a lot like my former boss at Infinlink (place I used to work at before I went back to school). He was pretty corpulent too. Actually - bloated might be a more fitting adjective.

It's definitely eerie, tho', and I love the melty skin effect :) I'm definitely a fan of that sort of artwork...(also? I'm really not an art snob; I know nothing about it, so I apoligise if I sound all pretentious or as though I'm trying to sound pretentious...).
