How cool would it be to design the space mission that slams an observer the size of a refrigerator into a comet just to see what happens?
Actually the full mission is an observer that intercepts the comet, launches another observer and kicks back to watch everything. But the other observer is also recording everything as it SLAMS into the comet and hopefully creates a crater the size of a football field. The observer will not be large enough to significantly alter comet trajectory in any way (like put it on intercept course with Earth - lol). Because that would really suck. But it would be really really funny. But it would still really really suck, and NASA would probably lose funding. If we lived =)
