When I first read that, I clicked on it, read the stats and immediately thought "no, too tall to be a troll of anysort." Then it dawned on me that you meant ev0l internet user and not the creature.
Not sure, but holy crap! Just when I think LJ has topped out at the melodramatic level, I read stuff that like that. *boggles*
LOL...that's funny. I don't even know how tall trolls are supposed to be.
Anyway...I think I stumbled on another dark spot of the Internet. fat_rejection is in middle of flame war with beautifulcurves and other groups. Appears to be meeting ground for a bunch of anorexic girls who get to freak out about all the fat people around them (which is like everyone - including themselves).
Some of the posters that I don't think are trolls have posts like this in their LJ: "My friend Ana came to visit last night. I think she's going to be staying for awhile."
Took me awhile before I realized they are talking about anorexia. EEEEK...CREEEEEEEPY!!!!
It's funny because anorexic girls also show up on beautifulcurves (not because they want to make fun of plump girls, but because they actually think they are overweight and they want to feel acceptance).
Well, it's really not all that funny, considering that the "plump" girls are already insecure and looking for acceptance in each other, or people that like some meat on a woman (Read- Me :D) And then these skinny girls come around complaining about how they're "above thier ideal weight" and "fat"... Makes me wish I could shoot 'em right on the spot. It's sickening. I can't beleive they'd bring there issues to a place of BBW empowerment. But, the bottom line is, since coming to LJ, I am in complete awe of how Anorexia has such a huge following, and how these girls root each other on... It's so sad, yet really disgusting at the same time.
I agree. I've found the same thing in my experiences. I think it's probably due to the fact that bigger women have had to rely on personality to win people over while some (shallow) thinner, prettier women think that looks are all it takes...
