Oh my god...what an episode. I don't know why the ensuing bloodbath at Mr. W's hands took me by suprise. I mean, since he showed up in town, all of the whores have been on edge. I didn't know the shit was about to hit the fan until they started playing the weird off-kilter jazzy music and he began talking to himself walking down the street. PSYCHO. Very well dressed Victorian gentleman psycho, though. The man has taste.
*sigh* - it's probably too much to hope for that anyone reading this watches Deadwood.
Anyway....so Mr. W proves to everyone that he has problems with women which he needs to work out (with a straight edge....EEEEEK), and fucking Cy is standing next to him over three fresh kills trying to blackmail him and get some money out of this (and trying not to puke his guts out). Hello.....he is fucking nuts! He isn't on your plane of reality. It wasn't just some kinky fetish he was exercising that got a little out of hand. He's a serial killer, you dumbass!
I was kind of sad to see BorgWhore go bye bye though. I mean she had it coming, running the Bordello of Blood and providing a constant steady supply of expendable hookers for Mr. W to work his way through. But damn she was a fine actress.
Should have given the gun to Joanie. I mean as a general rule, do not point a loaded gun at someone who is busy cleaning off his straight razor and a little out of sorts, and let you damn voice quake and your arms shake with fear. He KNOWS you aren't going to use it. And you're a witness. And yeah....stupid stupid stupid grade-B horror movie things you should never do in front of the monsters.
BorgWhore did not belong in Deadwood.
Actually Cy was showing through the whole episode that he isn't nearly as smart as he likes to give the impression of being. I nominate Joanie or Merrick as the two likeliest contenders for his offing. If you're not ahead of the game in Deadwood....you're probably feeding the hogs. Of course Mr. W could come back and dispose of him himslef when he no longer serves a useful purpose. Threatening to tell George Hearst that he has a serial killer in his employ? Ummm....Cy....I think he already knows that. He picked the scariest, creepiest badass he could find to represent him. You're not dealing with Walt Disney.
Trixie rocks, as always. I am glad her and Alma are becoming friends again now that Alma is pregnant with the sheriff's kid.
Speaking of Mr. Clench. Smooth move not noticing Jack the fucking Ripper moved into town and killing 3 prostitutes on your watch. Way to go Bullock. His big concern of the day seemed to be throwing a snit at Sol over Alma's proposal that they should start a bank.
Quick thinking on Joanie's part ferrying the other whores out of town. Run whores run!
I hope Mr. W makes an appearance again. Just when everything was starting to settle down and everyone was getting relaxed and comfy, the Boston Strangler shows up and then everyone is running for their lives.
Poor Chinese whores =( Cy really needs to make a date with Mr. Wu's hogs, and soon. Joanie could step in and take over as Madame, move the Chinese girls out of their cages and into nice rooms, and shoot Mr. W the next time he shows up.
