But god - I miss the smoking ban in bars they have in California. Wow - things were so much different when I smoked - and was....younger. 2 hours in a smoke-filled bar and I feel like I just inhaled 3 packs of filterless camels.....*blech* I can't even talk because my throat is so hoarse. Pounding headache....my eyes are red. Poor bartenders who have to wade through that until last call =(

Cool band and music though. And great political talks with the big Lakota bouncer whose name I forgot. And Karen taught me how to text on a cell phone for the first time =)

I'm very much looking forward to when the ban goes into effect here in Baltimore. Even when I smoked, being around chain smokers would still make me hate life the next day. Now that I've quit, I'm certainly more sensitive to the fact that even stopping in a corner bar for a quick pint leaves my hair and clothing reeking - even if only one or two people are smoking.
