Because WTF? Below is a snippet from a conversation I was having with my friend Sally from 2004:
I've always thought the whole idea of therapists going to other therapists was a little incestuous myself. Also, so many people who are totally nuts study psychology in college and grad school that maybe therapists should go talk to people who don't know anything about therapy to get their head clear of all the analytical stuff about emotions. Being more conscious of your emotions is not a bad thing because it does tend to make you happier and more well-adjusted, but I suspect there is a state where you become TOO conscious of your every emotional state and fall into the trap of having to analyze every little thing instead of just going with the flow and experiencing life and being happy in the moment. Again this is why so often therapists have the most messed up kids (even Roxy admits it).---
I must have been pissed at Roxy over something. I can't for the life of me figure out what caused it, though.
