Mountain Lions

eeeek.....my mom was outside smoking and a mountain lion just walked past our back porch.

And I'm really not certain whether to take this seriously or not, but the area around Rapid City is under a winter storm watch until Thursday. It's May!!!!!
Dammit....what a drag. I want spring.

Hopefully you don't have pets or small children...Mountain Lions usually don't threaten adults though.

Well we have Ebony (a black lab???? - she's a mutt). But she's not big on going outside unless it's to play ball with one of us or go potty (she is the biggest scaredy-cat of a dog I have ever been around).

Fortunately though - there are lots of nasty mongrel dogs roaming streets around here, and it would be easier for any potential mountain lion to pick off one of them.

There are lots of deer and wild turkey around here too. The place is heavy in wild prey for
predators.
