heee....I love the BBC:

Helvetica's message is this: you are going to get to your destination on time; your plane will not crash; your money is safe in our vault; we will not break the package; the paperwork has been filled in; everything is going to be OK.

Oh...and more Mark Morford goodness

And this is kind of interesting It's a short article about an undercover reporter who masqueraded as a man to find out what all the confusion was. Near the end of the experiment - she decided to join a male therapy group and there is this reaction:

Again, Vincent saw the men struggle with vulnerability. "They don't get to show the weakness, they don't get to show the affection, especially with each other. And so often all their emotions are shown in rage,"she said.

Dude, what goes on at those things? After that experience - she had severe depression issues. She is also a lesbian - so I don't know what that would do to your head (pretending to be a man and going to a male retreat where everyone is giving group hugs and stuff). And to compound her situation - most of the guys thought she was gay - so it's kind of a double mindfuck. Or something. Anyway - male group therapy...ummmm....no. I've never had the desire to share a bunch of deep emotions with other men. I mean that shit between guys is supposed to be left unspoken and verbalized with grunts or nods and primal body language. I guess that isn't enough for everyone though.....*sigh*
