very interesting
The clip that hurts the most is the one of a CNN reporter actually asking intelligent questions to an Israeli spokesperson (which aired for European audiences). I think everyone reading this knows the kind of crap CNN feeds their domestic audience. Now either that is because there is a program in place to keep the domestic audience in America ignorant of what is really going on, or they know their base here so well and are looking out for their ratings and know intelligent commentary and analysis of the news would cause those ratings to plummet. And they also know that if they tried feeding the same shite we in the states get to Europeans, that their ratings would plummet in Europe. I kind of think it's the latter and not the former, because I'm not big into massive conspiracies. Still - it's totally depressing. We get Wolf Blitzer telling us what is going on in the Middle East (a former lobbyist for AIPAC). Europeans get something that is striving to be like the BBC. Anyway, thank God for the Internet. I'm glad so many people are moving away from their evil televisions and getting online.
