But I watched the season premiere of SG-1 (season 10) tonight, and I realized something shocking. I have the hugest crush on Claudia Black (the actress who plays Vala Mal Doran in the SG-1 universe and who prior to that played Officer Aeryn Sun in Farscape).
I haven't a clue why she has supplanted Gillian Anderson in the exceedingly rare pantheon of actresses I fall for, but there it is. Unfortunately - her character on SG-1 up to this point has been little more than comic relief delivering snarky lines. Which is really an incredible waste if you remember what she was like in Farscape. I really
hope they expand her character. Or she gets cast as a character on Deadwood. I would love to hear her Aussie voice ripping through lovely long complicated Victorian English.
