I watched this movie
last night instead of studying for probability. If you haven't watched any Sergio Leone films with Clint Eastwood in them before, you will probably find it to be really really cute. If you are a fan Mr. Eastwoods "Terminator on a Horse" years, then you will be laughing your ass off.

So all the hw problems I was working through about the gamma distribution, weibull distributions, complicated
joint probabilty distributions with weird funky areas of support, bitch-ass problems involving finding variance by first finding the mgf of some weird-ass probability distribution, all of the problems that we reviewed for and were on the practice exams he put on his website, absolutely NONE of these were on the exam I took today. It was the DICK and JANE version of probability theory. I didn't even have to solve one integral using integration by parts. Actually, all of the integrals he gave you could do in your head. It was - strangely - something of a letdown. I mean when you psych yourself up to take some really hard test - and then - phhhzzzt - nothing. It's a bit of a bummer.

Okay, not THAT much of a bummer =)
