Well they have always been linked. But the bin Laden family and the Saudi Royals have always claimed that they have broken off any contact with Osama. So, it turns out that might not be the case

Anyone think that might be the reason Bush was so quick to want to forget about Osama? It would be kind of unpleasant for relations between the Saudis and the US if it comes out he has been hiding in Riyadh all this time.
