6 different (maybe weird, maybe not) things you may not have known about me...
1. I won the Bank of America English Student of the Year award my senior year in high school, and was the only student in my high school (and one of 3 in the district), to score a 5 on the English AP exam. My Enlgish teacher really thought I should become a writer.
2. I used to play the trumpet in junior hs and was really good at doing solo jazz improvisastions.
3. I'm left handed.
4. I had a bunch of near-death encounters before I reached the age of 10 (mostly relating to illnesses and accidents). The closest happened when I was 2 and choked on a plastic Santa Claus ring. Fortunately, my mom was a nurse and did the Heimlich manever on me and it worked - so she didn't have to do a tracheotomy.
5. I beat the snot out of Matt Trig when I was 10. He was a lot bigger than I was and I thought he was going to kill me. It was in first period recess and I was waiting in line to play 4-square and he came up behind me and pushed me out of line. It was early in the morning and I get really cranky in the morning. That's another thing you don't know about me =)
6. I love shooting compound bows. My dad bought me my first one when I was 11 for my birthday, and I was happy because the first bolt I shot went right through a steel garbage can.
